I can't stop thinking!

Ready to go!

Posted on February 10, 2012 | No Comments

The kids can’t contain their excitement. This weekend they will be spending time together at an uncle’s place. They will bring their rv with them and they will stay outside the city for two whole days. They can’t wait!

The kids’ dad made sure the rv has a 5th wheel insurance plan in place. He also made sure all the other insurance plans they need are in place so that whatever happens, they are covered. He also got a roadside assistance service for the rv.

They are all set and ready to go!

Room full of collectibles

Posted on February 10, 2012 | No Comments

Wendy’s room has a lot of collectibles in it. When her sons went on to college, she made sure all the important stuff they had stayed where it were. But the collectibles, the military models and all those fancy toys she bought them when they were younger, it all went to her room. She has a huge room and she allotted a portion of it for displaying the collectibles.

Aside from her son’s collectibles, she also has her bag collection eating up space. But she’s okay with it all. She loves her room and the different stuff in it.

Two hours of no electricity

Posted on February 10, 2012 | No Comments

It drove me nuts! There was a brownout the other day and it was totally unexpected. My little girl and I were supposed to go to sleep already when all of a sudden the lights went out! No electricity! Can you imagine how hot it was and how hard it was to sleep?

Two hours of no electricity. Good thing I always have the chargers battery with me so we had the lamps ready. Too bad we don’t have a rechargeable electric fan. If we do, we could have slept just fine even without electricity on.

Protecting each others’ backs

Posted on February 10, 2012 | No Comments

Remy and Emil are brothers and they are really close. Unlike other siblings who fight a lot, Emil being the older one is very protective of his younger brother Remy. The have each others’ backs and each one knows it. Since Remy knows his brother loves motorbikes a lot, he made sure to get him two shoei helmets. One for him and the other one for when he has his girlfriend with him. He just wants to make sure his brother is safe while on the road.

That’s what brothers do, they protect each other and make sure each one of them is always safe.

Mailman got lost?!

Posted on February 10, 2012 | No Comments

The mailman was complaining about a village with houses that have no numbers. It was so hard for him to find a particular house because of it. He always had to count the houses to be able to find the right house.

The next village to it, on the other hand, is well numbered. All the houses have house number plaques in front of it. The mailman doesn’t get lost in that village and he really loves delivering mails there.

Houses should have numbers in front so as to make it easy not only for the mailman but for anyone looking for the house to find it.

On a cold Friday night…

Missy invited her two girl friends over for some pajama party. They came over with food and chick flicks DVDs with them. Missy, on the other hand, took off the hot tub covers and prepared it for the three of them. They haven’t seen each other in weeks due to work and they really prepared to have fun.

They had a blast! Being together always mean great conversation, laughter, good food and lots of girl talk. They made a date to do the pajama party again. And make sure to have it on a cold Friday night…

Away from home

Posted on February 10, 2012 | No Comments

Being away from home can make a person sick. That’s what happened to Errol when he was assigned abroad for a period of time. Yes, there’s the internet and his cellphone. His company even let him use web conferencing in contacting his whole family, so he could talk to them all at once. But the longing to be with his family physically made him sick the whole time he was away.

When he came home, he was so overjoyed he asked for a leave of absence for a week! Just so he could wallow in the love and fun that it always is when he is with family.

Teasing the groom

Posted on February 10, 2012 | No Comments

All the groom’s men will wear lapel pins that have words teasing the groom about tying the knot. The men will try to ease the nervousness of the groom before the bride walks down the aisle. They know how much the groom loves the bride but he is scared of the future and they just want to help him get through the ceremony.

After the wedding, one of the groom’s men will be preparing for his own wedding, too! So the lapel pins will be worn once again…

hahaha

Crush or Love?

Crush vs Love

So it’s love. So what?! It was the bad kind, the kind that would have made me throw away a bright future just for a man who couldn’t even fight for me.

It was really a good thing that my love ones prayed for my guidance. I knocked my head and woke up before it was too late. I was able to get out of the bad situation and was able to move on.

It’s the past and I have let go. I just love patting myself in the back for being able to rise above a bad situation and never let it happen again.

Valentine’s Day coming up!

I am sure there are several men out there already buying engagement rings so they can propose on Valentine’s Day. Admit it! Don’t worry I won’t tell your girlfriends about it! ;)

February 14th is celebrated in most countries as the day of love. Valentine’s Day. A day meant for lovers and those who are always in love. Are you expecting something special to happen this coming 14th? Are you going to propose to your girlfriend? Or are you feeling the secret smiles of your boyfriend to mean he will propose soon?

Get ready!

Copy of the wedding video

Posted on February 6, 2012 | No Comments

Relatives living abroad are asking for a copy of the wedding video of Kyle and Janice. They couldn’t attend the wedding which was held in a beach in a well-known island in the country. Kyle promised them that he will send a couple of copies over as soon as he gets the dvd replication that he ordered online.

Kyle and Janice wanted every relative they have here and abroad to attend their wedding but since they couldn’t afford the plane tickets, they tried to stream it online. But the signal in the island was not too stable so they were not able to watch some parts of the wedding and they now want to see it in full.

Piano lessons

Posted on January 31, 2012 | No Comments

My sister has been hankering for a williams symphony elite digital piano for at least three years now. I believe the frustration of not being able to learn piano at an early age is already manifesting. I was the only one who was able to have piano lessons when I was young and I quit after a few months, owing to the fact that the piano teacher I had was a terror to my very young mind.

My sister said that she will be taking piano lessons as soon as the school year ends. She really has her eye on becoming a pianist!

Needing Mommy

Posted on January 22, 2012 | No Comments

I am hungry right this very minute. My stomach is growling and possibly screaming inside for some food. Right this very minute, I need my mom! I need her to be there to talk to and be a fixture at home. Unfortunately, she’s no longer with us. She passed away in 2005. I miss her so much!

It’s so hard to live without a mom. That’s why I tell my friends to make sure to tell and show their moms how much they appreciate them and love them and respect them. It’s not everyday that they will be there waiting for some attention coming from their children. Hug them. Give them gifts! Bring them to vacation trips and on shopping sprees. Tell them you love them.

You never know until when you have your mom beside you…

Friends coming over

Posted on January 22, 2012 | No Comments

I love having friends over at home. For one, it’s cheaper to hang out at home than somewhere else. I also don’t have to exert an effort to dress up because the guests coming over are my closest friends who have seen me in various stages of undress. Well, not naked, if you must know. Hehehe

What I don’t like about having guests at home is the fact that space is so limited! So I told my dad that we should do something about the patio and buy patio furniture after. That way we can have guests outside the house and not cram everyone inside. He agrees with me.

Tomorrow, the patio will have a makeover!
