It’s the holiday season once again. This is the time of the year when there are so many work events you are obliged to attend. How do you work it and capitalize on these opportunities to meet the higher ups?

There’s no harm in asking for details before attending an office event. Aside from confirming the time and place, try to find out if there’s a dress code, and if you can bring a hot date or your hubby to the event. Make sure you also know if a company executive will be attending the event so as you can formulate conversations you can bring up when you “accidentally” bump with him or her. Remember, every opportunity counts.
