Eccentric collector

Hats. They call her eccentric because she has a large collection of hats and other stuff in her big, close-to-mansion-size house. Aside from the hats, she has a collection of stuffed animals, antique jars, wooden frames, sculpted lovers, and so much more. She has a lot and it already overtook the space in her home. She doesn’t mind.

She is childless. Her husband tolerates her collection because he, too, has a collection of his own. He collects cowboy boots. Can you call them both eccentric for collecting such items? I don’t think they are. Unique in some but I know for sure there are people out there who collect the same.
